Can you feel the Christmas spirit yet?

in Journal

As we are approaching Christmas and New Year we would like to wish everyone a joyful and blessed holiday.
Find your peace this Christmas season. Give yourself permission to rest, balance, and restore, and tap into new sources of energy for the upcoming new year.

Cultivate peace
Try some new meditative practices to awaken your senses, which will allow you to enjoy this time fully. Nothing is required of you but to lie down and listen. Be supported, held, and nourished as you discover profound peace and vibrant health.

Practice gratitude
Practicing gratitude is always important, but it’s especially important during the holiday season, when all the rush for the festivities can become overwhelming. Relax to cultivate joy, kindness, and gratitude. Sincerely ask yourself, "What are you grateful for?"

Mindful eating
Instead of endless overeating, try to eat slowly and mindfully this holiday. Treat Christmas as a time for enjoyment. Be present when you eat; chew every mouthful slowly and pay attention to the color, smell, texture, flavor, and temperature of your food. Eat foods that make you feel fresh, empowered, and energized.

Gift simplification
Simplify Christmas gift-giving and instead of going on a crazy shopping spree and buying cluttery gifts just to give something away, try to avoid the festive frenzy and spend less money by putting in more thought. Try to be more conscious, and instead of just buying gifts, make them your own. Create custom presents for each person you would like to gift. Make personalized Christmas ornaments, prepare a food basket, or put DIY cookie mix in a jar. Homemade gifts are a great way to give a thoughtful gift without going out and buying a product from a store.

Be more conscious and let things slow down this season.

We wish you all very Happy Holidays.

With Love,
Ainasana team
